LAWRENCEBURG - Greenfield driver CJ Leary won the fifth running of the Jason Soudrette Memorial Saturday, taking the $2,044-to-win feature -with its signature bass guitar trophy - for the second time in his racing career at Lawrenceburg Speedway.

Sunman’s Kathy Kramer, 61, walked away with the 2018 SIRC-it 5K Run sweep of all five races, becoming only the second race walker to do so in  the history of the summertime benefit series.

 

BATESVILLE - Lawrenceburg’s Emilee Wedding and Batesville’s Ean Loichinger finished what they started in Saturday’s 18th annual Bulldog Chase 5K Run.

SKYLINE HOSTS TIGERS PEP RALLY AUG. 13

 

LAWRENCEBURG - Lawrenceburg Skyline Chili will host a Tigers Pep Rally Monday, Aug. 13, in advance of the football season opener at East Central Friday, Au

The rally kicks off at 6 p.m. at the restaurant at 714 Eads Parkway. Twenty percent of all food sales from 6-8 p.m. will benefit Lawrenceburg High School athletics.

There will be prize giveaways, including Skyline Chili gift cards and t-shirts and performances by the Lawrenceburg band and cheerleaders.

L'BURG SAFE SCHOOL NATA AWARD WINNER

 

LAWRENCEBURG - Lawrenceburg High School is the recipient of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Safe Sports School award for its Tiger Athletics program, announced July 18.

The award promotes safety and recognizes secondary schools that provide safe environments for student athletes. The award reinforces the importance of providing the best level of care, injury prevention and treatment.
