Michael Anthony Lesko, 62, of Franklin, Ind., and formerly of Aurora, Ind., passed away Monday, Aug. 20, 2018, at Homeview Health and Rehabilitation in Franklin, Ind.  

He was born July 16, 1956, in Batesville, Ind. to Anthony P. Lesko and Jean M. (Speckman) Lesko Courter.  He worked in the workshop at Shares Incorporated in Shelbyville, Ind., for 10 years.  He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Franklin, Ind. where he served as a greeter. He enjoyed traveling and bowling.

Survivors include his sisters Dr. Diana Moorman (Dr. Craig) of Franklin, Andrea Ertel (Mike) of Sunman, Ind., Maria Coudret of Lawrenceburg, Ind., two brothers Joseph Lesko (Kim) of Trafalgar, Ind., and David Lesko (Ann) of Sunman, Ind., and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may call Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, Ind. where a Rosary Service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Father Steven Schaftlein will conduct a Mass Of Christian Burial Friday, Aug. 24, 2018, at 10 a.m. at St. Rose Of Lima Catholic Church 114 Lancelot Drive in Franklin, Ind. with a graveside service to follow at 3 p.m. at River View Cemetery in Aurora, Ind.
